Do I need to fill out all the fields in the directory to obtain the search results?
You do not need to fill out all the fields. You can search by any categories provided.
Can TTA recommend a therapist?
Selecting a therapist is a personal decision and we cannot recommend any therapists for you. TTA does not examine, determine, or warrant the competence of any EMDR therapist listed in this directory. However, the TTA ensures the therapists listed have received approved EMDR training at different levels that adhere to the guidelines and best training practices from those developed by EMDR Institute, and approved by EMDR Asia.
Does the TTA staff set up or schedule appointments with therapists?
No, you are required to call therapists directly to schedule an appointment. The therapists listed do not provide EMDR therapy under TTA. The TTA only provides education and training for mental health practitioners.
How do I get the current contact information for EMDR therapists listed on the website?
The contact number stated in this directory is the latest information provided by the therapists themselves. However, the therapists might have forgotten to update us when they have changed their contact number. Therefore, if the phone number listed on this directory does not work, you are advised to search their name and city in Google. Most therapists are listed with Google.
